Actually, pure hydrogen is safer than this mix of hydro and oxygen. As far as storage container safety, don't even try to build your own storage vessel. Manufactured vessels are built for safety, and Roy Mcallister has an old steel one that has been holding Hydrogen for over 80 years. Best news is there are manufacturers now reaching 10,000 psi safe limits using carbon fiber.
