Hydrogen Fuel Systems can be composed of Electrolyzer or hydrogen generator (preferably powered by renewable source; solar or wind), Home Fueler or a metal hydride tank to store generated hydrogen, a fuel cell car also using the metal hydride tank, or fuel cell for home heating and other fuel cell home appliances.
*Electrolyzer or hydrogen generator (preferably powered by renewable source; solar or wind)
Large-scale and home-size:
*Home Fueler or a metal hydride tank to store generated hydrogen
*fuel cells (in your car or home heating system, and/or other home appliances)
Here's one if you can afford a GM Fuel Cell Car...
Or, build your own fuel cell. Here's an image of the Fuel Cell concept...
You may want to use the following for your hydrogen generator: (source from the book by Phillip Hurley)
*Electrolyzer Specific Photovoltaic Modules (ESPM) – 40 watt solar panels for electrolyzers to make it run efficiently;
*40-80 watt electrolyzer to match the renewable energy sources such as solar and wind;
*6-12 watt planar hydrogen fuel cell stack for electricity generation
Then you'll have your gas station at home making use of electrolysis as your method to make hydrogen.
