For now,I chose to purchase a PWM to learn from,as far as the relationship between parts & pulse rates. If/when I learn more, I will come back and post. Thanks for the website!
---------------------------- You are welcome!
In theory, A PWM can help reduce wasted power consumption of your hydrogen generator. Theoretically, a PWM can deliver the same average power to the hydrogen generator with less power used compared to just attaching your battery directly to the hydrogen generator. Please read this SPICE simulation that proves IN THEORY that the PWM could help to save on power consumption.
SPICE is a software package that simulates what an electronic circuit would do in real life. We used this numerous times when I was studying for electronics engineering 15 years ago at Weber State University.
(No, I'm not an electronics engineer. Why? Because after I studied Calculus for a year or more, I thought, I really don't want to do Calculus for the rest of my life!)
Yes, I'm still quite rusty at electronics, but as I research more it's starting to come back to me bit by bit.
I am a FIRM believer that the more hydrogen production is studied by universities, industries and do it yourself experimenters, it will be just a matter of time before more and more people figure out how to produce hydrogen with less and less energy loss.
Please check out the research I've discovered with how bacteria can produce hydrogen, how there are nano materials being used to make better electrodes for the making of hydrogen and much more!
Personally, I'm interested in scientific methods and very simple even ridiculous methods of making hydrogen. Why? Many people use the Post It Note. Did you know that was invented by complete accident? The inventor turned that "failure" into a very useful invention. An even better example is Thomas Edison. Many people thought he was just wasting his time, money and resources. Good thing he persisted!

Utter Rubbish by: Anonymous
I am an electronics designer, and all the puls e width circuit does is limit the amount of time that the cell is powered up, therefore if it was just connected to a car battery, you would get the most hydrogen produced, PWM simly is a way of limting this and controling the max current drawn, it does not improve the volume of HHO produced. A knob head student reading a basic electronics book could produce such rubbish.
------------------------------ Thanks for your opinion and comment.
To the best of my knowledge, I haven't said a PWM produces more volume of HHO produced.
However, after looking at this SPICE emulation, in theory it could improve the volume of Hydrogen produced.
If you can find on my website where I say that a PWM will produce more HHO, please let me know so I can mention the SPICE simulation. That way, experimenters can see what is possible in theory.
I want honesty and accuracy on my website.
I haven't had the time to make this website as good as it should be. But I am making more of an effort from now on.
