I made this like 6.5 years ago. And been out of electronics since like the early 1990's
But it all came back to me 6.5 years ago, but missed that UF. No time right now, nor do I have my breadboard and components at my present location.
If anyone reading this has the time to try, let me know if it improves hydrogen output.
Thanks again!

loosing frequency at electrodes by: BJ
Hi, the IN4007 diode at the electrodes can't switch that fast so you potentially have a short circuit, change it for an UF4007, the UF is for ultra fast, think this will solve your problems.

think about the water by: Anonymous
the water is making the plates act like a cap by giving the electrons 2 more surfaces to gather on act or you may have some stray inductance you may need to discharge the cell in between pulses
At the end of the day, Making-Hydrogen.com is about how to create hydrogen from solar power to bacteria! What is the coolest way you have discovered in making hydrogen?
