Hydrogen Production, Who Controls it Holds the Hydrogen Economy
Hydrogen Production. First is we should be clear what is the main and secondary purpose of producing hydrogen. Like, the oil producers have their Steam Methane Reforming in which most of the hydrogen produced are use for refining their products as well as other industrial materials. Good for them!
Now. what's good for everybody else? For you? Or us? What's good for the environment? And then, what scheme is fair and feasible? Who benefits the most? And, what are our priorities?
Hydrogen would surely take hold of the economy once a cheap and in acceptable standards of production systems and schemes are developed.
Home-based hydrogen generation, as well as when HOD or hydrogen-on-demand systems get through into the mainstream, will surely hurt the oil Companies, but liberates humanity.
And here's more, Hydrogen generation through:
replicating photosynthesis (Artificial Inorganic Leaf, Biophotolysis or photobiology, Molecular molybdenum-oxo-one of the newest discovery from many metal catalysts for making hydrogen)
photoelectrolysis, thermal decomposition of water, and the plasmatron.
Steam Reforming of Natural Gas (methane and other fossil fuels)
Steam Reforming of waste materials like SMR
Gasification of Coal and Biomass
Bacteria and Algae
use of renewable energy source
Fuel Cells, and
generators
- Stirling engine
- LM555 & LM393 & MOSFET Oscillator
- Various PWM(Pulse Width Modulator)
- Hydrogen from Solar Power
- Other digital circuits
- Umpqua Energy's Cornish Hydrogen Device
- Soda Can
- Pulse a Tuning Fork
Who controls the production technology controls the hydrogen economy.
