Honda hydrogen car, FCX Clarity FCEV - Fuel Cell Car, leaps to an
advance efficiency level and performance:
- Is over 397 pounds lighter
- Has 120% better power-to-weight ratio
- Is 20% more fuel efficient
- Is 45% more compact and 10% more energy-efficientand is
leading its way towards hydrogen economy. Wiser in that sense and sleeker in design. Integrates a more compact fuel cell stack and smaller power train.

It also uses high-efficiency lithium-ion battery pack as supplemental power source to capture lost energy during brake and deceleration. The battery pack is lighter and smaller than the ultra-capacitor of the 2005 FCX.
